Thank the god


Long, long ago before the earth was made,
god chose us as his own- he knew the price to be paid.
He decided on perfection flawless and pure,
We stand before him covered with his love for sure.
His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us,
Into the family of him by his son Christ Jesus.
He did this 'cause he wanted to: Praise the god for it.
For his loving kindness so sweet: Praise the god for it.
Favor and compassion he poured on us one.
Because we belong to his kindness
he took our sins away.
So overflowing in his kindness he took our sins away.
Through the blood of his son by whom we are saved.
He showered down on us his amazing grace.
Because he knows what's best for us in every place.
