Argue for me that aspect of feeding your dog or cat only vegetables. You are only showing me how evil you are. In truth, you hate all forms of life Disney has not anthropomorphized for you. You feel that Thumper, Bambi, and Flower are people.
In truth, Dogs are not obligate carnivores, they can eat flora as well as fauna. Dogs are facultative carnivores. They are meat eaters. While they can eat some plant matter, they survive but do not thrive on it. Often, for digestion, they do need small additions to their mostly carnivorous diet. Almost every carnivore does.
Animals come in all shapes and sizes. And nature has cycles. One often forgets of the decomposers, at the end of the cycle of your dog's life. And this is the argument against the vegan/vegetarian point of view. Their anthropomorphization of "prey" is faulty. The cycle of an animal at the top of the food chain gives way for other animals.
For instance, when the dog dies, maggots, turkey vultures and other carrion animals eat it. Then the decomposers start in... Then fungus, mold, bacteria, and so on... This gives way for vegetation like berry bushes which the rabbits eats, which the dog eats, which the maggots eat.
Those without the proper understanding of science and the idea that "innocent animals" deserve to live, are not only abnormal and aberrant, but anti-Christ.
There is power and Godliness in the understanding of the natural world.
