Triumphal

The word that was spoken
so long ago
from the mouth
of the almighty
still dwells
in the hearts of men.

BUT WE MUST LISTEN!
LISTEN TO THE HEARTBEAT OF GOD!
LISTEN TO THE CRYING OF THE LOST!
WE MUST LISTEN OR DIE IN OUR LIES!

For if we pretend
and ignore
those worlds
of sick and hurting
then we call Christ
to no effect
and that He died
once and for all
we cause Him
to die all over again

LISTEN TO THE HEARTBEAT OF GOD!
LISTEN TO THE CRYING OF THE LOST!
LISTEN TO THE SOULS OF MEN!
LISTEN TO THEM CRY!
